Former EB Babes member Ann Boleche, popularly known as ‘Hopia’ during her popularity on Eat Bulaga, made a hint that she was also persuaded by influencer and toy collector Yexel Sebastian to invest in his company.
In an interview, Ann, who’s now the CEO of a beauty product line, implied that she also put some of her money into Yexel’s venture, who’s known and currently facing accusations for allegedly being involved in a P200-M worth of scam.
Ann said that she was a close friend of Yexel, but she never specified how much money she had put into the scheme of the influencer.
When the press tried to squeeze her, the former EB Babe dancer only said that as a close friend of Yexel, she hoped that the toy collector, currently having a vacation in Japan, would return her money.
It can be recalled that several Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) claimed that they sank money into Yexel’s company in exchange for a high interest rate per month.
Yexel denied the allegations, saying he would defend himself on any platform.
