Albie Casiño’s interview went viral on social media after he declared that he’s not interested anymore to know more about his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann’s life.
In the interview, Albie said he was not planning to work with Andi, but he would still greet her if they met.
“I don’t need to say it like this pero wala talaga kong pakialam e. It doesn’t bother me. I don’t think about it,” said Albie.
After the interview, several netizens brought up the issue that almost ruined Albie’s career in 2011 after Andi accused him of being the father of her daughter, Ellie.
Despite his denial, Albie didn’t get the favor of the public, who even accused him of being an irresponsible father.
However, Andi’s half-sister Max revealed that Albie was only wrongly accused and the real father of Ellie was Jake Ejercito.
A DNA result also confirmed that Jake was indeed the father of Ellie.
Albie also revealed that he lost millions of pesos worth of projects and endorsements because of the issue.
“How about I lost a lot of millions of pesos worth of projects and endorsements from that? And it wasn’t just a P100,000, bro. It’s a million pesos worth of, I guess, damages,” he said.
“That’s literally money they put out of my bank account. That’s money that could have changed my family’s life. Money that could have changed my life, right? So how can I be okay with them? Why would I be okay with them?” he added.
Meanwhile, Andi successfully reinvented herself as a woman who chose to live simply in Siargao together with her current husband Philmar Alipayo.
