Veteran actress Janice Jurado was nowhere to be seen in Batang Quiapo despite the return of one of the main cast of the show Lovi Poe.
It can be recalled that Janice explained that she was removed from Batang Quiapo after the character being played by Lovi was removed from the story temporarily.
The actress said that she would become irrelevant because her role was connected to Lovi’s character.
“Sana po wag na po ninyo idamay ang pangalan ni ms Lovie Poe,dahil wala na ako sa Batang Q.kasi po wala si mokang nasa america,walana po ang eksena sa club,pag dating po nya at gusto pa ni direk Coco na ibalik sa mama janet,pasalamat na lang tayo.hintayin natin si mokang malalaman natin…wait lang po tayo,salamat po,” said Janice
However, despite the return of Lovi this week on Batang Quiapo, Janice’s character was still missing.
The return of Janice on the Kapamilya Show was slim as new artists were hired to become part of Batang Quiapo, including Jacklyn Jose and Ivana Alawi.
Several showbiz reporters believed that Batang Quiapo producers were not interested in giving Janice a chance to return.
It can be recalled that there were some rumors that Janice’s claims about her secret relationship with Fernando Poe Jr. upset many cast of Batang Quiapo and pushed for her removal.
There were also reports that Lovi didn’t like the story shared by Janice about her father.
