The employees of a popular company who went viral on social media on August 14 after they destroyed many pieces of equipment of a private resort they rented plead for mercy after the businesswoman who owned the establishment mulls charges against them.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Noneth Palentino revealed that the workers who were spotted in their CCTV footage throwing the chairs, tables, and water dispenser in their pool approached her and asked for forgiveness.
According to Palentino, the suspects were accompanied by their parents so she decided to pardon them.
The businesswoman said that she received a payment of P30,000 as a settlement for the damage they have done to the resort.
Palentino decided not to pursue filing charges against the said employees as the group promised to issue a public apology.
