Actor Markus Paterson finally talked about his relationship with Janella Salvador, which ended in 2022.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Markus shared that he was in a co-parenting setup with Janella in taking care of their child, Jude Trevor.
He also narrated his experience during the heat of the issue during his breakup with Janella and the accusations he received from the netizens.
It can be recalled that Markus had been accused of being a disrespectful partner towards Janella, which the actor vehemently denied.
According to him, he asked Janella to speak about the accusations and clear his name, but the actress refused to grant his request to distance herself from further controversies.
“Pinaka-nakakatawa binubog ko raw siya, kaya kami nag-hiwalay. Nag-trending ng sobra… minessage ko si Janella, ‘Are you not going to answer these? Hahayaan mo lang ba na sisiraan ‘yung tatay ng anak mo ng ganyan?’ Wala, ayaw niya ma-involve, ‘baka tumagal pa issue’.” said Markus.
“I understand… I never laid hands on her, hindi ako ganung tao. Sweet boy naman ako, hindi ko kayang manakit ng babae. Grabe naman, my father raised me right,” he added.
However, Markus admitted that his only mistake was his love to drink even if he was aware that Janella had some trauma to drunk people.
“Kahit alam niya na hindi ko sya kayang saktan, pag nakikita nya kong lasing, bumabalik ‘yung dating nangyari sa kanya, di ba? So I don’t blame her for that. Fault ko naman talaga ‘yun. Wala lang, ang hilig ko lang dati uminom,” he stated.
