Ben Tulfo defends Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa: “Dapat sila ang tinatawag na ehemplo”

Journalist Ben Tulfo defended Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa from their critics after the quinquagenarian couple kissed on the noontime show E.A.T.

In his radio program Bitag, Tulfo said that instead of criticizing, Tito and Helen must become an inspiration among couples as their relationship never changed during the 52 years of their marriage.

“Pag ibig na walang kupas, till death do us part, diba dapat sila’y tinatawag na ehemplo ng mga magulang na sila’y nagsasama, nagkapamilya, tanggap ng lipunan,” Tulfo said.

Tulfo hinted that Vice Ganda and Ion Perez couldn’t be compared to Tito and Helen because the latter couple built a normal family.

According to him, there’s nothing wrong with the action that Tito and Helen did during the show because they’re a longtime couple.

It can be recalled that MTRCB summoned the producers of It’s Showtime for the alleged ‘indecent’ acts performed by Vice and Ion.

However, several Kapamilya fans called out MTRCB for allegedly ignoring the actions did by Tito and Helen.

They even suspected that MTRCB Chair Lala Sotto was protecting her father and his show.
