Fil-Am rapper Ez Mil signs with record labels owned by Eminem and Dr. Dre

Filipino-American rapper Ez Mil shared a momentous moment of his career with his fans after signing with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records.

In a Facebook post, Ez Mil posted his photo together with Eminem and Dr. Dre who owned the said record labels.

According to Shady Records, Ez Mil was only one of the few rappers who signed with the three recording labels, mentioning 50 Cent as an example of the artist who did the same feat.

They also revealed that Ez Mil was set to release his new album DU4LI7Y: REDUX, which included a single featuring Eminem.

Eminem said that they were impressed by Ez Mil’s talent who’s the son of Paul Sapiera of the OPM band RockStar.

“We’ve never been out there signing a lot of artists, and one of the great things about how we built Shady is how selective we’ve been,” said Eminem. “And it’s even rarer that Dre and I sign something together – but I heard Ez’s music and was like, ‘this is really special” so I took it to Dre. We both agreed it would be a great fit and we wanted to work with him right on the spot.”

Ez Mil’s fans and Filipino artists congratulated the rapper on his new achievement.
