Patama kay Lea Salonga? Leah Navarro remembers how she treats her fans when they asks for photo

Amid the controversy being faced by Lea Salonga, another OPM singer Leah Navarro narrated how she treated her fans in the right way.

In her tweet, the singer behind the songs, ‘Isang Mundo, Isang Awit,’ and ‘Ang Pag-Ibig Kong Ito,’ remembered how she never refused the request from her fans.

She also thanked her fans, saying that she’s nothing without them.

“I began my singing career in 1977. Throughout, I’ve posed for photos (selfies, now), and given autographs to fans who’ve approached with big smiles and kind words. They’ve always been respectful. I will forever be grateful, without them I’d have no career,” Leah said.

It can be recalled that Lea received criticism on social media after she refused a request from her fans for a photo-op after they entered her dressing room without proper permission.

“Who are you? I’m sorry, I don’t know who you are,” Lea told her fans.

The fan who uploaded the video of the incident on social media, Christopher Carpila, said that he was downed by the reaction made by their idol.

“Para akong ipis na inapakan or kutong tiniris, ‘yun po kasi talaga ang naramdaman ko Sir Julius,” said Christopher. “Lahat po kami natulala,”

In 2018, Leah gave advice to Lea to become vocal about a certain issue.
