Actress Ellen Adarna answered back to a netizen who complained about the expensive entrance fee at ‘Temple of Leah’.
The said temple is one of the most-visited tourist spots in Cebu, owned by Ellen’s clan.
In her Instagram story, Ellen said they didn’t build the temple to make it a tourist spot but to pay tribute to her grandmother Leah Albino-Adarna.
However, they decided to open it to the public to make it more attractive to tourists.
According to her, all the things found at the Temple were part of her grandfather’s collection.
Ellen also told the netizens who couldn’t afford the entrance fee not to visit the place anymore.
“The story about the temple ‘dai, it was not built to be a tourist spot. It was built to be a storage for my grandmother’s things,” said Ellen.
“But then the view was nice, and I guess because of the structure, people started going, so the family decided to make it a business na lang.
“If you’re complaining, then just don’t go there. Simple as that.” she added.
