Netizens reminded E.A.T host Joey de Leon to stop taking a swipe against their competitors after leading the rating contest in the noontime slot.
It can be recalled that the launch of their noontime show on TV5 was considered a success after topping all their competitors, It’s Showtime and Eat Bulaga.
Joey thanked the televiewers who supported them and also took a swipe against the extravagant opening performance of Vice Ganda on It’s Showtime.
“Ganito kaliit lang ang studio namin sa TV5, parang elevator pero 1,000 floors naman ang taas ng ibinigay nyong pagpansin sa amin…lagpas helicopter!” said Joey.

However, some netizens didn’t like the attitude shown by Joey, saying that he must be humble as they’re already winning.
“Sana po iwas iwasan nyo na sir ang paparinig. Nakaka wala po yon ng respito. Pwede namn mag bigaybng isa’t libo isang tuwa pro yong mga parinig nakakawala ponng respito. Being humble is more important and be thankful kasi meron kayong new home. Napakasakit po nyan kng babagsak ulit kayo. Again congratulations po,” netizen @mehj19 said.
“Pare-parehas lang naman nasaktan, pinili, pinabayaan at binigyan ng pagkakataon. Bakit kailangan may ganitong post? Hindi mn derekta sinasabing sa showtime pero can you just be grateful? Atleast may bagong tahanan na ang pinalitan niyo. Hai.” netizen salbe1015 commented.
