Arnold Clavio couldn’t contain his disappointment while talking about the controversial discovery made by blogger Sass Rogando Sasot in the commercial made by an advertising agency for the ‘Love the Philippines’ campaign of the Department of Tourism (DOT).
It can be remembered that Sasot revealed that some of the footage used for the commercial was taken in other countries and not in the Philippines.
She discovered that some footage was taken in Indonesia, Thailand, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.
In his Instagram post, Clavio described the situation as ’embarassing’.
Clavio believed that the issue would affect the image of the Philippines internationally.
He also urged the DOT to take action and put the people behind the campaign accountable for the embarrassment they gave to the country.
“Ginoong Pangulong Marcos , wala dapat na lugar sa administrasyon mo ang isang ‘ manloloko’.” he also said.

DDB Philippines had already apologized for the incident and insisted that the video they made was only meant to be consumed by stakeholders and not by the public.
