Comedian Michael V. reportedly refused the offer from TAPE Inc. to become part of the rebranded version of Eat Bulaga.
According to a report, TAPE which is currently being led by Romeo Jalosjos Jr. reportedly chose Michael to be part of the new hosts of the longest-running noontime show after the original host of the show decided to resign on May 31, 2023.
However, Michael despite being a Dabarkads for almost 13 years refused the offer because of ‘delicadeza’.
The report indicated that Michael has close ties with the original hosts led by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon and he expressed support for the decision of the legendary trio to leave the production company and GMA Network.
He also considered TVJ as his mentor.
The comedian became a host of Eat Bulaga in 2003 and left the show in 2016 to pursue his major projects including Pepito Manaloto.
As of writing, Michael has yet to give comment about the report.
Currently, Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar, Cassy Legaspi, and Marvin Legaspi were already spotted in the first episode of the rebranded Eat Bulaga and received negative comments from the netizens.
People are now waiting for the new show of the original Eat Bulaga hosts in TV5.
