Vice Ganda’s concert producer in US denied the story claimed by the front-acts of the said event who interacted with the comedian.
It can be remembered that Gene Juanich and Garth Garcia complained about the alleged bad behavior they received from Vice and his assistant.
“Gusto ko pong ipaalam sa buong entertainment world ang pambabastos na ginawa sa amin ng assistant ni Vice Ganda during the show. Bale reaction ko po ito at kompirmasyon sa reklamo ni Garth Garcia na naisulat sa PEP, na pareho kami ng naranasan sa tao ni VG.” Gene said.
“During our rehearsals po sa mismong stage, lagi kaming sinisigawan ng babaeng assistant ni VG na dapat daw, hanggang dito lang kami sa area na ito, very rude ang kanyang pagsasalita na para lang kaming mga langaw. Sila ang dayo at bisita lang dito sa US, kami ang taga-rito kaya dapat sila ang maging polite at magkaroon ng respeto sa amin sa pag-support namin sa show ni VG.” he added.
Producer Amor Yu then revealed their side, denying that the camp of Vice Ganda showed bad behavior towards the front-acts of the said concert.
“Nagkakasiyahan daw ang grupo ni Vice na inaawitan pa ng ‘Happy Birthday’ ang kanyang assistant at pagkatapos ay sinabihan lamang nito ng malumanay ang mga nasa hallway na nakatanghod sa labas ng kwarto ni Vice ng ‘Excuse me po, magbibihis lang po si Vice para sa Meet & Greet!’” the producer said.
Amor also clarified the role of Garth during the concert, saying that the singer is not a guest artist.
She insisted that there’s no dressing room designated for the front-acts so the story made by Garth should be questioned.
Vice has yet to give any statement about the issue.
