Xander Ford couldn’t hide his sadness after some of the people he invited for the baptism of his child didn’t attend.
In his social media post, Xander was disappointed that his friends whom he expected to attend the baptismal of his son with non-showbiz girlfriend Gena Mago.
He suspected that the reason why some of his friends ignored his invitation was because of his fading fame.
“Ngayon yung binyag ng anak ko. Ang lungkot kasi yung mga taong inaasahan ko na pupunta sila yung wala.” Xander said.
“Kahit yung presensya lang sana para sa baby ko ok na ako pero alam ko na ridin kami importante kasi dinaman na kami sikat,” he added.
It can be recalled that Xander became one of the most popular internet celebrities in the past but his fame fade away because of several controversies.
Because of his fame, he befriended several popular influencers in the Philippines.
He also became the target of criticism because of his attitude in the past, but after having a child, he vowed to change for the better.
Netizens expressed their support to Xander, saying that the baptismal of his son is more important.
“Naaawa ako sa kanya pero siya din naman ang may dahilan bakit nangyari yan kasi hindi basta basta nakakalimutan ng karamihan ang nakaraan niya, nakakalungkot kasi anak niya pa ang nadamay pero yan lang ang pinapakita na kung hindi maganda ang nakaraan sa mga lilipas na taon at panahon maaapektuhan din ang future mo,” netizen Rhapsody Sims said.
