Actress Gigi de Lana broke her silence on the suspicions that she went to enhance her face with the help of science.
Gigi is considered one of the most beautiful singers currently, and millions admire her because of the beauty of her voice and her face.
The singer rose to fame after joining Tawag ng Tanghalan in 2016.
Despite not winning the said competition, De Lana gained fame on the internet together with her band Gigi Vibes Band, composed of Jon Cruz, LA Arquero, Harvy Jake Manalo, and Romeo Pastre Marquez.
As her fame increased, she experienced criticism and questioning from some netizens who were curious about the changes in her appearance since joining the Tawag ng Tanghalan.
In an interview, Gigi admitted that she underwent enhancements to look more beautiful.
“Kasi, I’m proud na alam niyo ‘yun. I love myself. Tapos tatanungin nila na, ‘You love yourself pero nagparetoke ka ganyan, ganyan.’ Katawan niyo ‘to? Kayo nagparetoke? Sino kayo? Alam niyo ba ‘yung nangyari? You love yourself; you enhance; you grow; you wanted to be the best version of yourself years ago.” Gigi said.
Gigi also said that she thought carefully about admitting her decisions.
“Personal preference ko rin kasi na magparetoke at umamin sa public. Kasi alam naman eh, mahahalata mo naman kasi. Naisip ko na rin ‘yun, aaminin ko ba? Aaminin ko ba ‘to? Sasabihin ko ba? Kasi kung hindi ko sasabihin, ito ‘yung consequence, sasabihin ng fans, magsisinungaling ‘yung fans, puro kasinungalingan. I don’t like liars.” she stated.
“So ito po ‘yung mangyayari, ang consequence, ang daming magda-doubt sayo. Hindi ka pagkakatiwalaan masyado.” she added.
In another post, she also told the netizens that she only went enhancement.
“Hahaha. Guys ilong lang pinagawa ko. Hindi ba pwedeng nag mature mukha dahil tumanda? Masama ang mag judge ah ng hindi niyo alam,” she commented.
