Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador announced that he would close his restaurant and bar after its flop grand opening on March 25, 2023.
It can be recalled that Labador expressed his disappointment after failing to sell tickets for the grand opening of Episode Bar + Kitchen in Pampanga.
According to him, he lost P1.2-M to the said event, claiming that he failed to sell even one ticket.
Because of what happened, Labador decided to close his restaurant temporarily to rewrite his business strategy.
He also blamed the fans of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading actor Coco Martin for the failure of his business.
Labador said that the closing of his restaurant was only temporary and he vowed to come back stronger.
“Uulitin ko nalang ang grand opening. Sana masaya lahat ng Coco fans sa ngyari. I will struggle. I will fall down. But I will always rise back up. AND I’LL BE STRONGER THAN BEFORE.” he said.
Labador was also looking for potential investors for his restaurant.
Netizens attributed the failure of Labador’s business because of the criticisms he made against Martin and other well-known personalities.
The motivational speaker was known for giving his frank opinion about public figures.
Some netizens also suspected that Labador really planned to post about the low ticket sales of his restaurant to promote his business.
They’re still not convinced that what happened last Saturday was the real grand opening of his resto bar.
