Ruffa Mae Quinto admits losing 4-M pesos to a business venture

Comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto’s return to the Philippines as an actress became one of the trending topics this month.

It can be remembered that Ruffa Mae decided to live in the United States in 2020 together with her husband Trevor Magallanes.

After two years of being silent in showbiz, she’s now returning to do new projects and endorsements in the Philippines.

She also appeared in the vlog of Mariel Rodriguez to do the ‘Drink or Spill challenge’.

One of the things she shared with the vlog was the biggest money she lost.

According to her, she lost P4-M pesos after investing in a business venture that didn’t profit later on and suddenly disappear.

“Sakin parang may nag-swindle,” Ruffa said. “‘Yung parang nag negosyo ka tapos biglang nawala, na wala ng bumalik.”

“Baka 4 million [yung nawala sakin].” she added.

However, she understood that every business has risk and she took it.

Ruffa said that she prefers investing her money than spending it on luxuries.

“Sanay akong mabuhay na very Filipino, may Filipino na sanay sanay ka na gumawa ng diskarte para kumita,” she said.

The lesson she learned from doing business was being ‘hands-on’ and don’t expect anything to return without doing some effort.
