A former ABS-CBN executive gave her thoughts on the contradicting statements made by Hope Soberano in the past few days.
It can be recalled that Soberano went viral on the internet after she claimed that her former management under Ogie Diaz and the people who worked with her didn’t give her enough freedom.
“I’ve sacrificed myself, I’ve sacrificed my freedom, I’ve sacrificed my happiness to present Liza Soberano to the world, and I think I’ve earned the right to finally be me,” she said.
The statement by Soberano didn’t receive well from the people who worked with her in the past, calling her ‘ungrateful.’
However, the actress made several clarifications in other interviews, saying that she was grateful to the people who became part of her journey as an actress.
Meanwhile, former Head for Dreamscape Digital Original Content Line Productions Ethel Espiritu gave her thoughts about the issue being faced by their former talent.
According to Espiritu, Soberano should think carefully before making such statements because it might affect her career badly.
“I think she should review and reassess before she opens her mouth again. Personal growth media release gone wrong,” said Espiritu.
She also believed that Soberano should make a good strategy to recover her image after her statement against her former colleagues.
“Maliit lang ang industriya na iniikutan namin. We will see each other somehow, somewhere, someday.” she remarked.
The former Kapamilya executive said that it was the wrong move for Soberano to have an interview with Bea Alonzo.
“It’s not good for both of them-for, obvious reason/s we all know,” she stated.
