A netizen aired his complaint on social media, claiming that a homeless man outsmarted him during their meeting.
In a Facebook post, netizen Yopop LD Jhenny Dampil called out the homeless man who asked for his money.
He thought the man was a vlogger that only pretended to be homeless and waiting for a good samaritan to help him, so he gave all his money to the latter.
The post of the netizen received hundreds of reactions on social media.
Meanwhile, some netizens questioned if the story of Dampil was real because, according to his profile, he identified himself as a ‘comedian.’
Despite the questions on the authenticity of Dampil’s story, some netizens still learned a lesson not to expect rewards from helping others.
It can be recalled that several vloggers made content pretending to be homeless so they could catch a good samaritan that they would reward later on.
One of the most famous creators who made such content was Ivana Alawi.
