AJ Raval may face charges for sharing her private conversation with Kylie Padilla

AJ Raval went viral on social media on February 22 after she defended herself from the criticisms she was receiving from netizens accusing her of being the ‘mistress’ of Aljur Abrenica.

The two already announced their relationship in public last Valentine’s Day, confirming the rumors about their real status.

Aj insisted that she was not the reason why Aljur and his former partner Kylie Padilla got separated.

She even posted a screen capture of her conversation with Kylie, telling her that she was not the reason for their separation.

However, some netizens questioned Aj’s decision to share her private conversation with Kylie.

Even the ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda became curious if what Aj did had consequences.

In the episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” last Friday, Abunda consulted Atty. Lorna Kapunan to discuss issues on sharing private conversations in public.

According to Abunda, Aj may face charges if ever she shared her conversation with Kylie without permission from the Kapuso actress.

However, the television host believed that Kylie has no interest in responding to the actions of Aj.

“Nanay, Tatay, Kapuso, lalo na ang mga bagets, ‘pag halimbawa mayroon kang private conversation na ipinost mo tapos walang permiso ‘yung iyong kausap, that’s illegal and that’s improper. ‘Pag may malice ‘yung conversation, you can be sued for cyber libel.” Abunda said.

“In the case of AJ, she used it to prove, to defend. It looks like naman na wala namang reklamo si Kylie doon sa pag-post ni AJ.” he added.

Abunda also reminded the netizens to be careful with sharing private conversations in public.

“But she posted a conversation na hindi natin alam kung may permiso si AJ Raval kay Kylie Padilla, that we don’t know. Ang sinasabi lamang natin, gusto kong ilabas ang diskusyon na ito para sa ating kaalaman. Na you have no right to post, this is not about AJ Raval anymore, para sa atin po ito.” the host said.

‘Pag may private conversation ka sa social media, ‘pag walang permiso ang iyong kausap at ipinost mo ‘yung screenshot, it is not only improper. It is illegal. ‘Pag may malice, you can be sued for cyber libel.” he also said.

As of writing, Kylie has yet to respond to the issue being faced by Aj.
