Babae na nandaya diumano sa ‘Pinoy Henyo’ muling sumikat matapos mag-Japanese sa kanyang apology video.

It seems that the attention being received by a ‘Pinoy Henyo’ contestant was not yet over one week after she and her partner faced controversy because of alleged cheating.

On the Valentine’s Day episode of the noontime show Eat Bulaga, Lyka Alburo who’s now being called ‘Stomach Girl’ received a tremendous amount of criticism because of allegedly trying to break the rules of the popular game show.

Even Joey de Leon took a swipe against Alburo, saying that cheating removes the fun of the game.

On February 21, Alburo released a bizarre apology video where she spoke in gibberish Nihonggo and even the netizens who knew how to speak the said language couldn’t understand what she was saying.

Several netizens believed that Alburo was only trying to capture the attention of the netizens and chasing clout.

They even questioned the sincerity of Alburo’s apology.

“Is she really saying sorry about that Pinoy Henyo fiasco? So bakit in Japanese (?) siya nagso-sorry? Hindi naman Japanese Henyo yung sinalihan nila na diumano’y nandaya sila ng boyfriend niya. Gusto ba niya talaga mag-sorry or gusto lang niya magpa-kontrobersiyal pa lalo?” netizen @iammadsdn said.

“I learned basic Japanese as an exchange student before. I am no expert, but this is not Japanese. I only understood Kudasai.” netizen @tiezasantos remarked.

“20 yrs na ko sa japan pero do ko ma gets kung ano sinasabi nya. Better ata Mag- aaral ulet ako ng jap. language,” netizen @shisenlove commented.
