The issue between Toni Fowler and Jelai Andres reignited after the former declared that she was more beautiful than the latter.
In an interview, some members of the press asked Toni about her issue with Jelai in 2019.
It can be recalled that Toni has been accused by Jelai to be the third party of her former husband Jon ‘King Badger’ Gutierrez.
The issue became one of the top topics in 2019 in the Philippines.
During the interview, Toni admitted that she was the one who made a mistake by having a relationship with Jon.
However, she denied that Jon was attracted to her because she looked like Jelai.
“Mas maganda naman ako kay Jelai,” she said.
Several netizens defended Jelai from the new statements from Toni, saying that the original wife of Jon was prettier.
However, some fans of Toni posted some old photos of their idol and Jelai so the netizens would see the difference between the two.
Jelai and Toni allegedly enhanced their appearance with the help of science.
“Natural Beauty without RETOKE is the most beautiful. Always remember that.” netizen Anjo said who expressed support for Jelai.
“Pareho silang retokada. Mas maganda pa si Toni kay Jelai talaga noon pa miski walang retoke kasi makinis maputi at matangos ilong na talaga si Toni.” netizen Olivia responded.
However, some fans of Jelai denied that their idol enhanced her beauty artificially.
“Wala talaga siyang retoke absolutely do you know why ipin lang pina ayos niya at nag pa glow up lang siya dahil nag mature na siya,” netizen Eilsel remarked.
Jelai didn’t give a response to Toni’s statement.
