Veteran columnist Lolit Solis revealed that she stopped asking television host Willie Revillame for an expensive phone as a Christmas gift.
It can be recalled that several months ago, Solis wrote that she was asking her colleague Cristy Fermin to contact Revillame so they could ask for an iPhone.
“Tutal talagang madali lambingin ni Cristy si Willie Revillame kaya parang done deal na ang hinihingi natin IPhone 13, kundi lagot siya kay Japs Gersin at Tina Roa, di namin siya tatantanan ng katatawag, hah hah. Kaya Willie Revillame, sagutin mo na ang tawag ni Cristy, para happy na kami nila Salve at Mr Fu.” Solis said.
However, in another post, Solis called the wealthy television host a ‘drawing’ for ignoring their request.
She even compared Revillame to Gretchen Barretto who’s known for being generous to the people working in showbusiness.
“Hindi na ako hihingi kay Willie Revillame dahil madalas drawing lang pag nag promise buti na lang mabait Gretchen Barretto at sinabi ni Ms. Ana Abiera at Ms. Rusky Fernandez ang dream natin na Iphone 13.” the columnist shared.
“Kung hinintay natin kay Willie Revillame hahanap pa siya sponsor, ang Shopee o Frontrow para buy ang cellphone, hah hah hah, hindi siya ang bibili.” she added.
According to Solis, they received P60,000 from Barretto who’s currently managing several businesses.
She then urged again Fermin to look for sponsors for another gadget.
