Willie Revillame and Gabriel Valenciano went viral on social media after the two reportedly took swipes against each other.
Amid the issue between the two, Gab’s past birthday letter to Willie recirculated on social media where the son of Gary Valenciano praised the television host.
“A lot can be said about Willie Revillame. You’ve either heard it, read it on the news, or seen it on TV. But maybe this is the exact reason why I admire and connect with him.” Gab said.
“Only now do I see and realize why this man is truly blessed. His generosity and willingness to help the less fortunate goes beyond what we know of him. Happy birthday to someone I never thought I would work and bond with this way, but God works in ways we could have never imagined. I pray you have the greatest year yet, Kuya Wil. Love you!” he added.
The post by Gab has now been deleted on social media.
It can be recalled that Gab who worked for Willie’s show in 2020 posted a cryptic tweet about someone who already run out of chances to ‘persuade people’.
“What goes around will always come back around. Filipinos are waking up, you should too.” Gab said.
Gab posted the said tweet amid the spread of the edited interview of Willie where the host was seen portrayed as being happy about what happened to ABS-CBN’s franchise.
However, the full interview showed that Revillame clarified that he loved ABS-CBN and he was thankful to become part of the network.
Willie then criticized a son of a celebrity in his show that according to columnist Cristy Fermin is Gab.
“Nag-Ingles-Ingles ka pa! Naging kasama ka namin sa production. Kapag pumapasok ka, di ba natutulog ka? Papasok ka sa dressing room ko, ‘Kuya Wils, I cannot do this. You know, I feel so dizzy.’ May mga ganoon-ganoon ka pa sa akin.” Willie said.
“Baka nakakalimutan mo, ikinasal ka sa Tagaytay? Sa akin natulog ang nanay at tatay mo, sa bahay ko sa Tagaytay. Ang galing-galing mong sumayaw, malapit ka sa Diyos, ang pamilya mo. Nagko-comment ka ngayon. O ano, baka nakalimutan mo, kinupkop ko kayo nung kakasalin ka sa Tagaytay. Napahiwalay ka.” he added.
