Kapamilya actor Bugoy Cariño finally confirmed his relationship with volleyball player EJ Laure.
In a Facebook post, Cariño showed a photo of their daughter for the first time during the celebration of his 18th birthday.
Laure was also in the photo which confirmed that the two are in a relationship.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! ??? Happy to have a family na mahal na mahal ako. Pagsisikapan ko pong itaguyod ang blessing na ito. Thank you for your unending support and I love you both, Mommy EJ and Baby Scarlet!!” Cariño said.

Laure also posted a video showing their family photos for the first time.

They were rumored to be in a relationship since 2018, during that time Cariño was only 16 years old while Laure was 21.
However, they denied that they’re in a relationship especially the reports that she’s pregnant with the child actor.
The pregnancy rumor was amplified when Laure announced that she’s going to miss a season of UAAP in 2018.
“Hindi naman totoo ‘yung sinasabi nila. Pero nasa kanila na lang ‘yun, kung ano ang gusto nilang sabihin. Kasi siyempre, tao din naman sila, may sarili silang opinyon,” she said.
“Last year, nagpa-injection ako. After noon, ilang days pa lang, umalis agad kami for Thailand. So hindi ako nakapag-therapy, kasi ‘di ba sa Thailand, sunod-sunod ‘yung training namin. Noong AFC (All-Filipino Conference of the Philippine Superliga) lang siya sobrang na-feel ko ‘yung pain ulit,” Laure added.
Meanwhile, the couple became trending on Twitter to congratulate them.
However, some people criticized the couple because of their age gap.
