A few days ago, Ignacio who’s a known supporter of President Duterte gave advice to Mercado who became vocal on giving comments about politics.

You have very successful careers dahil mahusay kayo sa linyang pag aartista,” said Ignacio.

“Do not ever think the power of popularity will instantly translate into mastery of the political jungle.
Wawasakin ninyo mga careers ninyo,” he added.

Solis in an Instagram post said that she’s not siding with anyone, however, she gave an advice to the Kapuso actress that she must be careful about giving comments about issues.

Sino ba gusto gayahin ni Jennylyn Mercado, si Angel Locsin?” she added, referring to columnist and publicist Vinia Vivar who defended Mercado in her column.

According to her, if Mercado wanted to be like Locsin, the actress should also start to help other people.

Unahin niya iyon, huwag iyon puro twitter o facebook ang ginagawa niya, at pagtatanong, ayaw ni Arnel Ignacio,” she said.

Mercado defended her decision to be vocal on some issues about politics, saying that she’s also a taxpayer and it’s her right to air her opinions freely.
