Singer and Actress Zsa Zsa Padilla expressed concern on the current situation of the law and order in the Philippines after she heard about what happened to Kim Chiu who allegedly ambushed by still unidentified suspects on Wednesday morning.
On a social media post, Padilla who’s also a cast of Chiu’s show, “Love Thy Woman” asked how safe is the country now after the incident.
“Relieved our baby girl Kim Chiu is safe and everyone inside van were all spared from being hit by bullets. But how safe are we when we get out into the streets? Ganyan na ba talaga ngayon, Pilipinas?” Padilla said.

Some followers of Padilla blamed President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration for what happening in the law and order in the Philippines.
“Parang Singapore daw sabi ni Duterte noon. That’s what we get for having a goon for a President. Everything will always lead back to him,” netizen @pinayinengland said.

On Wednesday, Chiu narrated how she survived the incident by chance.
“I don’t have an idea what really happened, mistaken identity? I guess?? Napag tripan? Wala naman akong kaaway or ka atraso,” Chiu said.
However, some netizens believe that the incident was scripted and only made for publicity.
Even historian Van Yviernas, questioned why Chiu who’s an artist needs to buy a bulletproof car.
Why? Ybiernas said.
