A former broadcaster of ABS-CBN doubts the authenticity of the ambush incident involving Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
On a series of Facebook posts, journalist Jay Sonza found inconsistencies in the story of Chiu, who said that she even went to work after the incident.
According to Sonza, the story of Chiu is hard to believe, especially when the actress said that she still went to the taping even after that incident that almost cost her life.
“Tumuloy ako sa taping and after 2 sequences, pinak-ap ako at kinausap ako nga bossing ng abs-cbn.”
Let’s just take it at face value. The incident is under investigation by the authorities.”
“Kim is a product of bahay ni Kuya PBB Teen edition and one of the most bankable artists and a contract artist of the kapamilya network.”
“No offense meant, but I find the story incredible to believe.”
Sonza also doubt if the van used by Chiu is really bullet-proof.
Bakit tumagos ang bala from right to left window kung bullet proofed? Sonza said.
“By the way this vehicle cannot be armoured because the engine displacement is too under power for the heavy load. 4 cylinder lang ang van. minimum engine for bullet proofing is 8 cylinder gasoline type,” he also said.
According to the driver of Chiu, they are not aware that they’re being ambushed until one bullet pierced through the vehicle.
After the suspects fled, the driver bravely went out of his vehicle to check the condition of the van.
“Inikutan ko [yung sasakyan], lahat ng tama samin,” Wilfred Taperla said.
Chiu also said that the aftermath of the incident might be different if she decided to wake up during that time to read her script.
“Pano kung tinuloy ko magbasa ng script?… I was so scared, I dont know what to feel right now,” Chiu said.
