After reports about a recent quake in Davao region has been circulated on social media, one commentator identified as ‘Dulfo Edwin’ made the most attention-grabbing comment among the hundreds of netizens who tried to speak about the said event.

On his now-infamous comment, he wished that the magnitude of quake that struck Davao reaches 8.3 instead of 6.1 as reported so it would affect the ‘DDS’ or the supporters of President Duterte more badly.

“Parang bitin naman yung lindol dyan sa Davao. Mas happy sana kung 8.3 magnitude at ang maaapektuhan lang ay mga dds na super shunga shunga and syempre ang bahay ni Doggy!” said Dulfo.

The netizens especially from the affected areas of the recent quake couldn’t handle their emotion and started to criticize Dulfo for his comments.

“Dulfo Edwin dont worry ikaw daw ang unang makakatikim sa wish mo at walang tutulong madadaganan ka ng maraming bato at walang sasaklolo sau unti unti magdidilim paningin mo,” Prince Rafael Mangaron said.

“Dulfo Edwin I’m not a Duterte loyalist but I know that this is wrong don’t wish misfortune on other people,” Abigael Odinada commented.

“Dulfo Edwin antayin mo ang karma dong! Muntikan na nga sa lugar nyo! Baka matuluyan na kayo!” Beth Paula Barcinas remarked.

However, Dulfo said that the people he only wanted to be affected by the quake are the supporters of the President.

“exclusive for dds lang ang lindol. Wag shunga shunga,” he told the netizens.

An hour after he made the said comment, Dulfo edited his post with a message asking for prayers to the affected people of the Davao quake.

“Guys ipagdasal natin ang mga kababayan natin sa Davao para sa kanilang kaligtasan. Amen,” he said in his edited comment.

This is not the first time that Dulfo made an eyebrow-raising comment.

Facebook page Blessed Be Philippines criticized Dulfo for wishing something bad to the President.
