According to Agnes Reano, a former recruiter for the New People’s Army said that the communist group got a quick response team (QRT) consisted of people from the media and Catholic church to help the wounded rebels to be transported outside the battle area safely.

Reano said that the QRT is one of the tactics of the communist group to escape the government forces.

She narrated how she became a broadcaster after they made an operation against the government in Camarines Sur.

Reano revealed that the legal fronts of the communist movement who are recruiting students in several universities are aiming to demolish the current government.

She also pointed out that the communist are already demanding too much, saying that the people are already enjoying too much democracy.

“Kasama po ang party-list, kaya nga po nila pinasok ang political mainstream arena ay para magkaroon sila ng legal face,” she said.

“Sobra na po ang demokrasya, ang masakit lang ho we want to destroy the government but this is the same government that is now helping us,” she added.
