According to the document released by PMAAAI to the press, it said that Tulfo “viciously maligned” the DSWD Secretary who’s also a product of PMA, saying that the journalist’ statement against their member was a violation not only for the broadcasting ethics but also to the cybercrime prevention act of 2012

“The PMAAAI takes offense and strongly condemns the boorish behavior and derogatory remarks of MR. Tulfo that spilled over the ranks of the active and retired Officers, Men and Women of the MUP thereby assailing the very core of service to the country and people of which the PMAAAI squarely stands for,” the statement reads.

“Now, therefore, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved, that the Board of Directors declares as it hereby declares, MR. Erwin T. Tulfo as PERSONA NON GRATA by the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI),” the statement added.

PMAAAI said that Tulfo or his proxies are already barred from attending any activities or programs sponsored by the PMAAAI.

When the rift between Tulfo and Bautista started, PMAAAI is one of the first groups who condemned the journalist for his statements.

They even offered legal assistance to Bautista if he’s planning to file charges against Tulfo.
