Journalist Ben Tulfo wrote an open letter to Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rolando Bautista, urging the latter to not make money or conditions as his basis for forgiving people.
The host of TV Show BITAG, made the letter after Bautista demanded that Erwin Tulfo should donate an amount no less than P300,000 to 19 groups connected to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
According to Ben Tulfo, journalists got their style of serving the people, like his brother who’s known for being tough when reporting or talking to people.
Despite the style of his brother, Ben believed that many people trusted Erwin.
Ben Tulfo said in his post.
“Lahat nagkakamali at natututo. Walang perpekto. May kasabihan sa Ingles, it’s never a mistake or a failure as long as you learned from it.”
He also urged Bautista to accept Erwin’s apology unconditionally, pointing out that they’re supporting the same administration.
Sabi nga ng palasyo sa media, its time to move on!” he added.
Ben said that they’re also fine without the security detail from PNP, saying that they’re also paying for it.
Ben also offered some of his protective agent to his brother Erwin.
