Bato secures his victory in the 2019 senatorial elections after getting 17.5-M votes

From being an unknown cop turned head of PNP in 2016, Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa now secured his victory in the 2019 senatorial elections after getting 17,540,224 votes as of writing.

The results were according to the unofficial tally transmitted from 79,569 out of 87,851 clustered precincts around the Philippines.

According to the ‘Halalan Results’ by ABS-CBN, Dela Rosa got most of his votes from Cebu, Cavite, Bulacan, Laguna, and Davao City.

This is the first time that Bato joined politics and instantly getting a national position because of his popularity for architecting ‘Oplan Tokhang’ during his days as the leader of PNP.

Dela Rosa is pushing for bringing back capital punishment and vowed to support President Rodrigo Duterte’s reform.

He’s also pushing to give back the training of the future police to the PNP, saying that it might solve the problem on increasing number of erring cops.

As of writing, Dela Rosa is not yet releasing a statement and his campaign team is still monitoring the election results.

Aside from Bato, his allies Bong Go, Imee Marcos, Cynthia Villar, Pia Cayetano, Francis Tolentino, and Koko Pimentel entered the magic 12, however, the race in the top 8-15 is still close.
