Francis Magalona’s rumored partner, Abegail Rait, reportedly failed to win the barangay election held in Toclong 2-B, Imus Cavite.

On October 30, Abegail congratulated the other candidates from the other camp consisting of incumbent barangay officials.

She also thanked the people who supported her during her attempt to serve her barangay.

“It is with humble appreciation to all the supporters who fought for us a good battle and rest assured that we are one in serving goodwill with earnest effort to find ways to make our better community to come together,” said Abegail.

Abegail was only placed 8th during the counting of votes.

Before the elections, Abegail went viral on social media after she appeared on the Pinoy Pawnstars online show and proclaimed herself as the last partner of the master rapper.

Because of the timing of her appearance, netizens questioned the real intention of Abegail and her decision to sell the signed jersey Francis gave her.

Netizens now expected that Abegail would focus on her daughter Francesca’s showbiz career.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) denied the news circulating on social media that they were summoning comedian Vice Ganda again due to his way of eating in a fried chicken commercial.

The issue started when a parody account of Cristy Fermin posted information that Vice would receive a summon from MTRCB chaired by Lala Sotto after his commercial with a popular fast-food chain went viral.

Several netizens believed that said news pushed MTRCB to release an official statement to clear their name.

“Pinabulaanan ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang mga post sa social media na nagsasabing ipinatawag ng Board ang isang kilalang personalidad na lumabas kamakailan sa isang Television Commercial ng isang Fast-food chain. Ang mga paratang na ito ay may masamang hangarin at walang katotohanan” the agency statement reads.

“Sa panahon ng digital age, mahalaga na tiyakin kung tunay ang mga balita at maging mapanuri sa iba’t ibang sources ng impormasyon bago ito ipamahagi. Ipinapakita ng insidenteng ito ang kahalagahan ng Media literacy at Kritikal na pag-iisip.

“Patuloy na sumusuporta ang MTRCB sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. at sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO) sa kampanya nito laban sa disinformation at misinformation,” they added.

It can be remembered that MTRCB imposed a 12-day suspension against Vice’s noontime show, It’s Showtime after his cake-eating scene with Ion Perez during one of its segments gained criticism online.

Daria Ramirez revealed why she separated from her former husband, Joey de Leon.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Daria said that she was only 20 when she decided to live with Joey, who was 25 then.

According to her, while their relationship bore two children, Kempee and Cheenee de Leon, she admitted that their relationship turned bitter because she believed they were not yet ready to settle during those times.

Daria said she decided to live alone but admitted that she was facing financial difficulties and relying on the help of her friends.

That’s why she decided to make a public appeal to her former partner and reminded the veteran comedian that she also became part of her life.

“Hoo, hirap in a way na lack of financial. I mean, almost everyday, iniisip ko, kanino naman kaya ako makalapit, para makabayad nito, makabayad ganun. Mga ganun. Baka naman. Veteran actress Daria Ramirez had publicly appealed to her former husband, Joey de Leon, to help her amid the challenges she was facing.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Daria talked about her past relationship with the E.A.T. host, including how they separated.

Daria, who’s the mother of Kempee and Cheenee de Leon, said that she was hoping that Joey would notice her appeal.

She even revealed that even her children were aware of her problems, but they chose not to interfere with their parents.

According to Daria, she was hoping that Joey would assist her financially.

Francis Magalona’s alleged other woman, Abegail Rait, posted a video to address his critics online.

It can be recalled that Abegail went viral on social media after she revealed that she had a relationship with Francis Magalona before the latter passed away in 2009 and even produced one child.

However, many netizens didn’t like how Abegail proudly shared her story, and most of them expressed support for Francis’ legal wife, Pia Magalona.

While Pia kept mum on the issue, Abegail maintained her social media presence by posting videos, including her latest message to her critics.

The family and friends of Joey Paras announced the passing of the known comedian and director.

In a Facebook post, the ‘Bekikang’ star said that the family of Joey was also facing several difficulties as they couldn’t take his body at home because of hospital bills.

That was why the camp of the comedian was asking the netizens to participate on the fundraising they were doing to help Joey’s family.

“To all of our family and friends, we are saddened to announce that our Tito Joey Paras, passed away and joined our Creator this afternoon, October 29, 2023 at 5:40pm. Unfortunately his heart wasn’t able to recover anymore,” Kim Cabrillas said.

“Currently, his remains are still at the hospital’s morgue. We need to settle his hospital bills for us to take him home. Our family is knocking at your kind and generous heart to help us raise a fund to cover his hospital bills.

Actor Epy Quizon shared his untold story working with Francis Magalona during his appearance on the GanjaHoops podcast.

According to him, his first meeting with Francis was not good, and they almost fought each other.

Epy said that he only wanted to introduce himself to Francis, but the latter found him ‘annoying,’ which resulted in a clash between them.
