The family of the Filipina who was killed by her husband during her Christmas holiday vacation in Slovenia ended their silence.
In an interview with GMA News, Eutiquio and Vilma Pila, the parents of Marvil Facturan-Kocjančič, said that they didn’t expect that their son-in-law, Mitja Kocjančič, would do such actions.
According to them, they even took care of Mitja when he was staying in the country, saying that they didn’t see anything wrong with the personality of the Slovenian National.
“Three months ka namin inaruga diyan sa bahay namin tapos pagdating sa Slovenia seven days lang ‘yung itinagal ng anak ko,” Mr. Pila said.
It can be recalled that Mitja and Marvil argued during the 7th day of their vacation, which ended in the Filipina losing her life.
According to the Slovenian authorities, they noticed that Mitja was showing signs of mental health problems.
Mitja was currently under psychiatric care while the incident was still being investigated.
