Veteran actress Raquel Monteza couldn’t hide her disappointment towards two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo due to the treatment by the latter towards his mother.
In an interview with Morly Alinio, Raquel lectured Carlos and called him worthless.
“Wala kang kwentang tao, kasi nanay mo pa rin ‘yun kahit s’ya na ang pinaka
masamang tao sa mundo nanay mo parin ‘yan,” she said.
“Hindi mo nga kasalanan pero dapat magpasalamat ka kasi binigyang buhay ka pa rin,” she added.
Raquel’s statement received mixed reactions from the netizens.
As of writing, Carlos has yet to give any response to the statements made by Raquel against her.
It can be recalled that Carlos publicly criticized his mother and accused her of pocketing the money he received from joining international competitions.
However, Angelica said that she only took a portion of Carlos’ money to secure the future of the latter, saying that her son was not an athlete forever.
“Wala kaming ninakaw, wala kaming ginalaw na pera niya. Siguro meron, portion… na hindi naman ‘yung sasabihin na aaraw ‘yung bulsa niya… kasi in-invest namin eh, sa bahay… para makita din niya, na pwede niyang masabi na ‘may remembrance ako sa pera ko,” she said.
