Kumpare at Kumpare, itinuturong nagpatumba sa mag-asawang online seller

The Philippine National Police (PNP) presented the suspects behind the passing of a married couple who worked as an online distributor in Mexico, Pampanga, on October 15, 2024.

During the press briefing, PNP Spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said that the people who possibly orchestrated what happened to Arvin and Lerma Lulu.

According to them, the mastermind, Anthony Umon, couldn’t pay the P13-M they borrowed from the victims.

“Allegedly, yung mastermind, yung utang niya na P13 million… humanap siya ng middleman para ipapatay ang mag-asawang Lulu,” said PCol. Jay Dimaandal, Pampanga police provincial director.

Umon and Perez allegedly paid the riding-in-tandem P900,000 to end the lives of the victims.

Joanna Marie Perez, the suspect’s partner, was also being investigated for possible involvement.

Meanwhile, netizens posted some photos of the victims together with the suspects, which showed how they were very close to each other.

Perez was even spotted attending the couple’s funeral.

Some netizens also raised the possibility that the mastermind also wanted to end the competition between him and the victims as they were both distributor of a certain beauty product in the province.

“Mam Lerms Lulu justice served! Rest in peace. Napakawalang puso ng gumawa sa inyo na kaibigan pa ang turing ninyo. Ang sakit sa dibdib! Ang pera pwede pang kitain,” one of the friends of the victim wrote.
