Actor Rodjun Cruz expressed his support for his friend, Julie Anne San Jose after the singer received criticism on social media after she performed inside a Church last week.
Julie Anne went viral on social media after she danced and sang to the tune of Dancing Queen, Edge of Glory, and the Climb at Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.
Rodjun believed that Julie Anne only showed professionalism by performing at the event.
“Wala kang kasalanan dun. Professional ka lang talaga at iniiisip mo lang palagi na mapasaya at ma inspire ang mga audience mo!” said Rodjun.
Julie Anne already apologized for her actions and vowed not to repeat the same mistake again.
Meanwhile, the Parish Priest of the Church also asked the Catholic faithful for forgiveness.
“Buong kababaang-loob po akong humihingi ng kapatawaran sa lahat ng nasaktan mula sa mga pagkakamaling nasaksihan sa Heavenly Harmony Concert na ginanap sa Nuestra Senora del Pilar Shrine and Parish noong ika6 ng Oktubre 2024,” Fr. Carlito Meim Dimaano said.
“Inaamin ko pong may mga mali kaming desisyon ukol dito. Inaamin ko po ang lahat ng mga pagkakamaling ito,” he added.
The event was supposed to raise funds to improve the facilities of the church.
