Internet personality Valentine Rosales asked LGBTQIA+ writer Jude Bacalso to stop insisting that she must be addressed as ‘ma’am.’

It can be recalled that Jude appealed to the netizens to use proper pronouns when addressing members of the LGBTQIA+ community as a form of respect.

“Calling someone by their correct pronoun is a form of respect, and I’ll give you that. Walang mawala sakin, walang mawala sayo,” said Jude.

However, Valentine believed that Jude must clarify that ‘she’ may be her preferred pronoun, but that doesn’t mean it was her legitimate pronoun.

“Excuse me, I think you need to rephrase your sentence ang correct pronoun mo is He,” said Valentine.

“Pero She ang preferred pronoun mo! Iba ang PREFERRED pronoun sa legitimate pronoun mo. At pano ka rerespetohin kung di mo nga ni rerespeto ang sarili mo! HE ka ginagawa mong SHE?” he added.

Jude was currently facing charges from the waiter who was allegedly forced to stand for two hours after the latter called the writer ‘sir.’
