In a Facebook post, Atty. Mark Tolentino, one of the lawyers of SMNI and Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, called out the said company for using the latter for their social media advertisement.

The advertisement showed a photo of Quiboloy taken after the government presented him to the press following his arrest.

Tolentino said that the company must apologize, or else they would file charges against them for allegedly making fun of the pastor.

“Boycott natin ang Chooks-to-Go! This is an Irresponsible and unethical advertisement and considered as a Cybercrime! Chooks-to-Go, Apologize or face a suit!” said Tolentino.

The advertisement has already been deleted from social media.

Tolentino’s post received mixed reactions from the netizens; some of them said that there was nothing wrong with the advertisement, while others believed that the company would not delete it if they didn’t see anything unethical with the photo.

As of this writing, the company has yet to release a statement on the boycott it is facing.
