Angelica Yulo, the mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, received an award from a hair salon for being an exemplary mother.
In a video, Mrs. Yulo couldn’t hide her happiness for being recognized by the salon during a ceremony led by one of its franchise partners, Jong Siochi.
Mrs. Yulo was accompanied by her other relatives, including her father, who introduced Carlos to gymnastics.
According to Siochi, Mrs. Yulo’s acts aligned with their campaign ‘Ganda For All,’ which promotes selfless gestures towards others.
“We give this recognition for your exceptional dedication & unwavering commitment to raising children that bring pride to the Philippines,” said Siochi.
Some netizens congratulated Mrs. Yulo for being recognized as a great parent.
