A housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, Therese Villamor, faced possible early eviction after admitting that she didn’t mean to join the competition.
The contestant from Camarines Sur was recorded while narrating her audition story to other housemates.
She disclosed that she was supposed to audition as a talent for Star Magic.
“Nung day na audition na ‘yon, mag-isa akong pumunta,” said Therese. “First time talaga ‘yon sakin, tapos mahiyain pa ako so grabe talaga ‘yon for me, very challenging tapos wala pa naman akong kilala, tapos pumila akong mag-isa,”
“And then, [sa] Star Magic talaga ‘yung inanunhan ko, audition pero may kumausap sa mother ko, hindi ko alam kung pwede akong mag-mention ng name pero may kumausap sa kanya [at] mag-convince na mag PBB muna ako,” she added.
Some netizens expressed their disappointment as they believed that Therese received special treatment after she was asked to join PBB instead of going through the normal process.
“Sayang pamasahe, at mga nagastos to audition. Wag na lang magpa audition kung halos lahat ng pipiliin anak ng mayaman, may pangalan na ang pamilya, sponsors, ibabalik nyo ba yung pera ng mga nagastos sa audition? PH tv is something else,” netizen Lantis said.
“Artista search na may konting reality show na talaga ang pbb ngayon,” netizen Anonymoots remarked.
“To be honest after ng season nila maymay nakakatamad na ang pbb, dabest padin yung season 1 , celebrity edition and then melai amd maymay’s batch. The rest di na kaabang abang,” netizen Megs commented.

It can be recalled that PBB was already being criticized for allegedly choosing people with connections to become a housemate, ignoring those thousands who lined up.
As of writing, Star Magic has yet to explain Therese’s claims.
