One of the characters of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo went viral on social media after some netizens raised questions about the Kapamilya program’s timeline.
In some videos on social media, the character Camille, portrayed by Yuki Takahashi, became the subject of a joke after they noticed that she had been pregnant on the show for over a year.
Some netizens even jokingly asked Batang Quiapo’s director, Coco Martin, to let Camille give birth.
“Paanakin nyo na si Camille kawawa nmn buong episode nalosyang na. Para nmn magsisi si David at niloloko nya si Camille,” netizen Jen said.
“Overdue na kasi kaya d cgurado kung nakakapagsalita na yang baby mo,” netizen Joy remarked.
Meanwhile, Mr. Coco Martin’s fan page released an explanation of the issue.
According to them, Batang Quiapo’s time was not the same as the real world.
“Hindi katumbas ng isang araw natin ang isang araw sa Batang Quiapo. Lalong hindi katumbas ng 25 minutes na palabas ang bente kwatro oras. Iba ang timeline sa mundo nila kumpara sa totoong buhay,” the page wrote.
“Maaring 12 months na siyang buntis na panonood natin pero sa mundo nila, wala pang 9 months yan,” they added.
