Former EB Babe member Lian Paz hoped the divorce bill would finally become law.
Lian expressed her support for the divorce bill after giving her opinion on Jodi Sta. Maria’s announcement about the latter’s annulment with Pampi Lacson.
She also couldn’t stop herself from admiring Jodi for not giving up.
“Sobrang na-happy ako for her (Jodi),” said Lian. “Hindi naman kami close. Pero, ang saya ko nung mabasa ko ang post niya. She waited for it and I can tell upon the waiting process, ‘di ba?”
“She showed her character. Nakipag-co-parenting siya nang maayos sa asawa niya. Hindi naapektuhan ang mga anak niya. So, it’s really a battle rin sa isang babae, to be emotionally capable. Strong woman talaga siya,” she added.
Lian then shared that, unlike Jodi, she withdrew her annulment from her former partner, Paolo Contis.
“Sabi ko, bakit palaging may aberya? Maybe, I’ll just pull it off first. And then, sabi ko, ipagpile-pray ko muna nang mabuti,” she stated.
“Magre-replan muna ko. Paano ko ba ito iaano? Ano ba ang mas magandang ways na puwede? But then again, whatever ways we do, kapag hindi si Lord ang nagbigay,” she added.
The former dancer was hoping that the divorce bill would finally free her from Paolo’s bonds and allow her to marry her current partner, John Cabahug.
It can be recalled that Lian already disclosed that she couldn’t provide evidence and proper documents to prove annul her marriage with Paolo, which prompted her to give up.
