The said blind item, which was released by the Facebook page “Hyein’s modeling agency,” was about a celebrity couple who watched a concert by a South Korean artist.

“First hand chika. Sinetch itey na mag jowang actor at beauty queen ang biglang nag entrance sa concert ni IU at gustong manood kahit hindi naman daw nag bayad. Ang bet pa ay VIP seat pero wiz na vacant kaya hanash ang user at secu kaka-find,” the page wrote.

Netizens realized that the page was referring to Jeric and Rabiya after it republished a social media post shared by the actor about the concert.

The page quickly released a public apology, which was also reposted by Rabiya.

“We wanna clarify that the rumors circulating are not true. We bough the tickets for 12,000PHP each. Just like the rest of them. We worked very hard to afford the tickets and never demanded for any VIP treatment but we would like to commend the ushers for helping us find our seats,” she said.

She even showed a photo of the ticket and even shared that they were scammed by a scalper.

“We’ve been scammed the first time we tried to buy these tickets. Just like the rest of you. We had a hard time looking for available tickets,” she said.

“Contrary to what most of you think, walang artista-artista sa paghahanap,” she also said.
