Yen Santos’ mother finally speaks on the rumored relationship between her daughter and controversial actor Paolo Contis.
In Jobert Sucaldito’s social online program, Mrs. Yan Santos addressed the public and clarified that her daughter was not in any romantic relationship with Paolo.
She also denied that Yen was the reason behind the separation of Paolo and LJ Reyes.
“Tinawagan ko po si mommy Lilian, si mommy Lilian is the mother of Yen Santos kasi very close sa akin ‘yang batang ‘yan more than 10 years na,” said Jobert.
“Sabi ko, ‘mommy may tanong lang ako?’ ‘Ano ‘yun ‘nay?’ Nanay din kasi ang tawag sa akin no’n, eh. Sina Yen ba at si Paolo hiwalay na? ‘Yun ang tanong ko sa kanya.
“Sabi sa akin, ‘nanay naman pati ba naman ikaw naniwala? Never namang naging sila?’”
Mrs. Santos made the said statement despite the admission made by Paolo in 2023 about his relationship with Yen.
“Sa amin kasi kumbaga is what you see is what you get naman eh. Di naman namin pwede ipilit yung tao to be happy for us, di naman namin pwede ipilit ‘yung mga tao na paniwalaan yung gusto nilang paniwalaan sana lang isipin nila na kung ano lang yung nakikita nilang naka-post, ‘yun lang y’ung truth na alam nila,” he said.
However, several weeks ago, Paolo and Yen breakup rumor sparked after the latter deleted her birthday post to the Kapuso actor.
