Megastar Sharon Cuneta received a Mother’s Day greeting from her oldest child, KC Concepcion, just days after she revealed her issue with her daughter.
It can be recalled that Sharon discussed her issues with KC, saying that it almost arrived to the point that she had already given up attempting to gain a connection with her child again.
Sharon described her current status with KC as “estranged,” which means they decided to part ways.
“Ano man din ang problema ng panganay ko, because at this point we are estranged I’m very very hurt, pero there are things na ‘tama na ‘yon’ there are things na amin nalang,” she said.
“Pero kahit balik-baliktarin mo ‘yung mundo, mahal mo ‘yong anak mo eh so tiis tiis nalang bilang nanay. Pero dadating din sa point na ayokong isiksik ang sarili ko,” she added.
However, netizens were surprised when KC wrote a letter to her mother last Sunday.
“To my beautiful mama, it’s your day. I pray for us to enjoy life’s pleasures and adventures together soon. You’re the first person I ever met, and ever loved, it’s because of you that I’m here today,” she said.
“Trust in the way you raised me- I will always strive to make you proud and feel that having me was worth it. I love you. I wish I could give you the world so you wouldn’t have to worry about anything for another second,” she added.
