Girl group 4th Impact received criticism on social media after they launched fundraising to buy a bigger place for their 200 dogs.
In their post on gofundme, 4th Impact member, Almira said that due to the number of their pets, some neighbors already complained about the noises coming from their kennel, which forced them to separate some of their dogs.
According to them, they wanted a bigger place for their pets, so they’re raising $100,000 or 5.6-M pesos to acquire a farm for their furbabies.
“That’s why we’re reaching out to you today. We dream of providing our furry friends with a safe and expansive farm where they can live out their days in happiness and freedom. it’s a dream born from our deepest love and dedication to these animals who have brought us so much joy,” Almira wrote.
“Your generosity and support would mean the world to us. Every contribution brings us one step closer to turning our dreams into reality. And as we embark on this journey, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you,” she added.
However, the post received criticism from the netizens and veterinarians who called the practice of 4th Impact irresponsible.

Some netizens also mentioned that the group would possibly be responsible for not following Section 2 of the Animal Welfare Act or RA 8485, which forbids backyard breeding.
