E.A.T host Wally Bayola was facing another controversy again after a decade after he uttered a curse word during the ‘Sugod Bahay’ segment of the said noontime show on August 10.
In the said episode, Wally together with Jose Manalo and Zombie was talking to their studio co-hosts when the veteran comedian suddenly heard uttering a forbidden word while the camera was away from him.
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) quickly summoned the producers of E.A.T, TVJ Productions to explain why their show must not be suspended for the actions done by Wally.
On August 11, Friday, Jose, and Wally addressed the televiewers, saying that they were aware of the mistake they made.
Kaya dapat po tayo nakikinig,” said Jose.
Wally apologized for what he said and asked the public for understanding.
Netizens praised Wally for quickly apologizing and even compared him to It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda who didn’t even address the ‘Isip Bata’ controversy.
