Megastar Sharon Cuneta and journalist Arnold Clavio made a comment on the progress of the charges filed against former Sen. Leila de Lima.
It can be recalled that De Lima gained another victory after the former senator has been acquitted of the second charge filed against her during the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
In his ‘Tilamsik ni Igan’ post, Clavio asked if the people who made the story against De Lima could also be charged.
“May umiiral ba na batas na maaaring papanagutin sa batas ang nga taong nag-imbento ng testimonya? Karapatan ng mga akusado na maipagtanggol ang kanilang sarili at makumpleto na makamit ang hustisya.” Clavio said.
“Tama lang na ang nagsabwatan at nagtulung-tulong para siya ay maling makasuhan ay makulong din.” he added.

Cuneta then also made a comment to Clavio’s post saying that De Lima was not supposed to be put behind bars.
“Sana noon pa siya napalaya. Nakakalungkot. Di nga dapat naikulong.” the megastar said.
Meanwhile supporters of De Lima asked the government already to free the former senator because they believed that she would also be acquitted to the remaining charges against her.
